Longer

AI January is three weeks of free, hands-on AI sessions in New Orleans, Jan 8–29, 2027. There are no lectures and no slides. A guide sits next to you and helps you try AI on something real, from your job to your kid’s homework. Anyone can suggest a session, and once five people want it, it goes on the calendar. Most sessions are at The Nieux, 2040 St. Charles Ave. It kicks off at AI Friday on Jan 8. Presented by The Nieux Society and AI Friday. Learn more at joinaijanuary.com.

Printing in one color? Use the dark purple-gray or black logo. The zip has every version.

Please do

  • Put it on white or our light lavender. There’s no version for dark backgrounds.
  • Leave some room around it, about the width of one arch of the crown.
  • Keep the name next to the crown when it’s small, so people can read it.

Please don’t

  • Stretch it, tilt it, crop it, or change its colors.
  • Add shadows or outlines, or put it on a busy photo.
  • Use it in a way that looks like we endorse something we don’t.

The usage guide (PDF) has the details.

Share images

When you share a link to this site, this picture shows up with it. Every session has its own too, with its title and date.

How we say it

  • Write the name as AI January. Not “AI Jan” or “AIJanuary”, and not all capitals.
  • The dates are Jan 8–29, 2027, in New Orleans.
  • Say free plainly. Every session is free.
  • The people who help at a session are guides, not hosts or presenters.
  • Keep it friendly and plain. Lots of people coming are brand new to AI.
